Rooms & Pricing

We operate on a contribution-based model. Your stay helps us maintain our space. Monthly stays: From €550 for a room with a shared bathroom and €900 for a private large double room with en-suite bathroom. For shorter stays, weekly rates range from €155 to €250 depending on the room.
We share most, if not all, meals together, with groceries budgeted at €10 per person per day. Our system is opt-out: you’re automatically included in shared meals unless you choose to arrange your own. There are no hidden fees: towels, laundry, and essentials are all included.

* The cost of meals will be around 300  euros / month (10 euros a day for an average of 30 days), therefore, the comprehensive cost per room, meals and facilities is the following: 850 euros / month for a double room with shared bathroom, 900 euros / month for a small single room with en-suite bathroom, 1000 euros / month for a small double room with en-suite bathroom and 1200 euros / month for a big double room with en-suite bathroom.

Traveling to Maysou A Noste:

By Train
  • From Paris, Bordeaux, Biarritz or Toulouse: take a train with a simple change at Pau. The train station is just a short 450-meter walk from the front door.
  • Via Canfranc: If you're coming from Spain, the optimal route is to take a train to Canfranc, accessible from Zaragoza (which connects to Madrid and Barcelona via AVE).
By Car

Reaching A Noste Maysou by car is simple and scenic, taking you through the beautiful landscapes of the Béarn valley.

From Pau (approx. 45 minutes), follow the N134 toward Oloron-Sainte-Marie, then continue in the direction of the valley.

From Bayonne or the Basque Coast (approx. 1h30), take the A64 toward Pau, then follow signs to Oloron-Sainte-Marie. As you get closer, smaller country roads will lead you through the valley and nearby villages.

We recommend using your GPS for the final stretch—simply enter “A Noste Maysou” and follow the directions.
Parking is available on-site or nearby, making arrival easy and convenient.

By Plane

The nearest airport is Pau Pyrénées Airport (about 45 minutes away), with regular connections to major French cities. From there, you can rent a car or arrange a transfer to reach the house.

Other nearby airports include Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (around 1h30) and Tarbes–Lourdes Pyrénées Airport (about 1h15), both offering a wider range of domestic and international flights.

You can also fly into Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (around 2 hours) or Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (about 2h30), which provide more extensive international connections.

What should I pack?

Diverse Clothing: The Pyrenees weather can be unpredictable. Even in summer, evenings may get chilly, especially outdoors. Pack a light jacket for cooler nights.
Outdoor-Ready Attire: As there's much to do and explore, bring along some old clothes suitable for outdoor activities and hands-on work.
River Fun: Don’t forget swimwear! Our nearby river is perfect for a refreshing dip.

Should I bring my own sheets/towels?

No! We’ve got you covered with sheets, soaps, shampoos, and fresh towels, so you can leave those little things to us.

Is it mandatory to have shared meals?

No! We share most—if not all—meals together, with groceries budgeted at €10 per person per day. Our system is opt-out: you’re automatically included in shared meals unless you choose to arrange your own. If you prefer to eat out or consume your own food, you're free to do it. Just let us know so that the chefs know how many people will be there!

I have dietary restrictions: can I be included in shared meals?

Yes. Our meals are vegetarian. If you’re vegan, have allergies, or any specific dietary requirements, we do our best to accommodate everyone by preparing meals that suit all needs. We’re always open to discussing different options!

I know that in communities the routine could be packed with activities to do. Do I have time to work?

Yes. One of our priorities is to maintain a healthy balance between collective moments and personal time. You’ll have plenty of time to focus on your work without missing out on the weekly activities!
